Senior Network Engineer (Cisco, PBX, Windows, Unix)
COING doo Novi Sad is currently looking for a Sr. Network Engineer on a FULL TIME basis to work in our MISSION CRITICAL production environment.
Your role is to be responsible for the implementation, support and management of the Network in a team environment.
The Network Engineer will be responsible to design, implement, support, and manage networking and telecommunications infrastructure solutions to both internal and external clients. The Analyst is a subject matter expert who diligently assists with the improvement of service level on our data networks.
Key Accountability
1. Responsible for making changes to inter networking & telecommunications infrastructure.
2. Responsible for supporting the existing networking infrastructure. Analyze and trouble shoot network related problems & issues.
3. Responsible for coordinating implementation of inter networking projects and work with vendors & business partners to ensure that installations meet service level objectives.
4. Participates as a technical advisor for a variety of IT projects that are driven by business and technological developments.
5. Prepare and maintain network engineering documents & procedures.
6. Analyzes commercially available voice & data networking products and services to determine and recommend solutions which are to the best suited to the company and their clients.
7. Responsible for on-site installation of systems, equipment and the physical relocation (moves, adds and changes) to the telecommunications and security system.
This position will require the incumbent to work non-traditional work hours. For example, noon until 8:30 PM. Start times may vary and the incumbent will need to be flexible in order to support business needs
Position Requirements:
1. Post secondary degree or diploma in computer science, information management or related field.
2. Minimum 10 years experience in Network Engineering
3. Minimum 3 to 5 years previous, hands on experience at a SENIOR level with telecommunication and inter networking technologies, such as Cisco routers, Cisco Lan switches, Cisco VoIP and IP Telephony, VPN, Traffic load balance, Meridian PBX, Voice mail systems.
3. Good trouble shooting skill and with working knowledge on Windows and Unix/Linux. (Inter networking)
4. Strong working knowledge of networking best practices and industry standards.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
6. A team player with very strong interpersonal skills
7. Self motivated, hard working, flexible and able to work independently as well as part of a dedicated team in a demanding environment
Location: Company is based in Novi Sad, field work Europe, Canada, Israel, UAE
